Mitchell grew up in Midland, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University, where he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration and then attended the University of Tulsa, where he earned his Masters of Energy Business. Prior to forming Wellbark Resources, Mitchell worked with an Independent Oil and Gas company out of the Permian Basin. D
Mitchell grew up in Midland, Texas. He attended Texas Tech University, where he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration and then attended the University of Tulsa, where he earned his Masters of Energy Business. Prior to forming Wellbark Resources, Mitchell worked with an Independent Oil and Gas company out of the Permian Basin. During this time, he sharpened his knowledge of the oil and gas business. He has worked in many facets of the industry and has an all-encompassing understanding of all aspects. Mitchell enjoys spending time traveling and doing activities with his wife, Lauren and their three children Eli, Caroline Carlisle and Collins Claire. Mitchell now resides in Frisco, Texas, where he and his family are active members at Gateway Church.

Matt is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring Wellbark’s investments. He brings 10 years of experience in energy, with a focus in the financial evaluation and trend analysis of oil and gas assets.
Prior to joining Wellbark Resources, Matt worked in various roles within the Corporate Controllers Department at Exxon Mobil Corp
Matt is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and monitoring Wellbark’s investments. He brings 10 years of experience in energy, with a focus in the financial evaluation and trend analysis of oil and gas assets.
Prior to joining Wellbark Resources, Matt worked in various roles within the Corporate Controllers Department at Exxon Mobil Corporation. He participated in the financial analysis and acquisition evaluation of Exxon’s domestic onshore program.
He is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Business Administration from the Rawls College of Business. He and his wife, Allison, have three children and are active in their church and the local community.
